Denobi's Bang Ecommerce Wins Innovation Award

Denobi are delighted to announce that we have won the Innovation Award from the D15 Chamber of Commerce. The award, sponsored by IBM, was given for the innovative Bang Ecommerce system that Denobi have developed. Conor Lenihan, TD Minister of State with special responsibility for Science, Technology, Innovation and Natural Resources was among those congratulating Denobi on the Award.

Denobi has a growing number of clients who are trading online using E-commerce websites. These clients have contacted Denobi because they require expert advice on developing an online store. The existing approach used in the Irish market is costly in terms of time and resources for the client. At Denobi we identified the opportunity to develop and Ecommerce application that meets the vast majority of client requirements but that can be modified to meet the vision that they have for how the site should look and feel to visitors.
Denobi have now reduced the amount of time that it takes for a client to have a fully functioning Ecommerce site to a matter of hours. Clients have access to a simple easy to use system that is flexible to their requirements, and at the same time easy for Denobi to support and improve. The system has automated a number of key areas for customers, including image resizing, shipping, VAT calculations and order processing. The site has also been passed by McAfee Secure, which is one of the most strenuous security certificates available online. The system can also be upgraded without impacting on any of the private data that customers have already installed or collected from sales activity.
What is Different
The innovation with the Ecommerce application is the ease with which we can integrate the system with other 3rd party applications. These include the various payment providers in the market: Realex, Paypal and Worldpay are already integrated. The newsletter function is integrated with Constant Contact, one of the market leading newsletter and ezine management tools. Google Analytics is used to provide the site statistics and usage information. The integration with Sage Line 50 is in development and will be rolled out over the next 3 months. All of these tools are accessible by the site Administrato,r so a customer does not need to contact Denobi, they can manage the business end of the website themselves.
The system packages together everything a client may need to start, maintain, develop and make a success of an Ecommerce website. Our system is designed to be a complete solution for our customers, one that does not require regular contact with Denobi to maintain it, only to improve it.
Bang Ecommerce will become a seperate business from Denobi in 2010.
