Junior Front End Web Developer Required

We’ve a great opportunity for someone looking to get a foothold in the web industry and join one of the largest and longest established web agencies in Ireland.
About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be working closely with the design and development teams. You will be working in a small team environment conducive to learning and improving your skills. Previous employees have used the role springboard into other areas including web application development and online marketing/search engine optimisation.
Day to day tasks will include
- Design conversion and website building with XHTML and CSS, with particular attention to standards compliance and cross browser compatibility
- Populating content provided by clients.
- Training clients on the use of the in house CMS.
- Working with clients and further improvements and innovations to their websites.
Essential Skills Required:
- strong XHTML/CSS
- basic PHP with MySQL
- basic javascript/jQuery
- experience with Photoshop
- excellent customer facing skills
- fluent English, written and spoken
Would be Advantageous:
- experience of hosting platforms Hsphere and Plesk
- experience with phpmyadmin
- experience with CVS/version control
- working knowledge of SEO best practice
- working knowledge of DNS

Depending on experience (negotiable)
