A usability review focuses on that last element - how easy it is to use.

Many websites are too complicated to navigate making it difficult for visitors to find their way around.  Forms can often be cumbersome to complete and can result in a frustrating experience for the visitor. 

Sometimes the desire to provide a unique design can result in a site which confirms to none of the common expectations of a webuser.  For example, it is standard that by clicking on the logo of a company that you would be returned to the homepage - but unfortuantely  this is not always the case.
